I plan to try and get this laptop with my SSI backpay, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i (15" Intel) Aura Edition
A computer for casual learning is something I've been at for a little while now. For the last month or two I've been looking into whether to get a gaming machine or GPU laptop on Amazon. I had a list there but finally decided I want the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura edition. Getting it will be a bit of a move at Dan but I think he can do it, as in get it paid for and mailed here. After that I am told that I might get a check issued to him for it, so to allow him to do it is the issue. I can only get Amazon goods here, but not the Lenovo.com products.

As I announced on LinkedIn

"I am currently trying to get the Lenovo i7 Slim Aura edition Lunar Lake Intel machine with Intel ® Core7 Ultra 256V and 32 GB of RAM. I want to mostly emulate or run Linux and Ansible from Redhat for entering #industry standard experiences by proactive planning.🏄"

This Laptop is an Intel Core Ultra 7 256V with NPU 💼✏️💻💳✅

This laptop is with feature, a 4.80GHz max Intel® Lunar Lake processors and a NPU for Copilot AI. Touch screen. Fond I am of amazing Intel computers like this one. This one beats the competition by being well rounded in specifics and with its bleeding edge components I'm sure to make a p At a perfect fifteen inches and with a recycled aluminum body, it is something fit to last that I can carry in a backpack around San Jose. I hate how cheaper ASUS plastic laptops get scratches in their interior from transporting it around in a backpack.

If Intel is to beat the Snapdragon Elite ARM processor with its Cortex graphics integrated GPU, then this would be the idea. This computer, which is slated for Windows 11 Copilot updates by mid to late 2025, can do many things. I am interested in playing PS2 emulator games to test its graphics performance. The Intel Ark graphics should play games with optimal rendering for up to 1440p resolution. Anyway, the laptop is sub-$1500 total, maybe $1535 after tax, with all the features I desire. You can get up to 32 GB of RAM on this, and therefore I discovered it was the computer I want.

I am well off selling dankchronic.com for getting this laptop in my ownership, but I am trying also to get my friend Dan to cover the cost so the Public Guardian in charge of my funds can send him a check.  I can't sell the domain right now but when I leave, I will try and get myself a bank account with the check I get from the sale of dankchronic.com

They would do Amazon orders but I want to get this direct from Lenovo, as I do not see the Aura edition on their site. What matters most is I am making it with what little I have preparing for a cash boost that is not in my control. There is hope that between Dan paying for the laptop and the public guardian's office allowing the check to be cut I walk out with this amazing computer machine.

🙌🏻 What to do on my new computer

It comes with a Free Adobe Creative Cloud 2 Month Membership and an option for Microsoft Office Home and Business 2024 to be included. Word processing is definitely a need, so I plan to bring this to Cupertino at De Anza College. I'll be using it alongside getting some extra financial aid money from finishing Python and Linux classes. The benefits my background as a programmer DNS expert in the Silicon Valley are to improve.

  1. Content Creation with Copilot: Leverage Copilot to generate engaging blog posts, brainstorm article ideas, and refine my writing.

  2. Expand Your Media Library: Invest in an external Blu-ray burner to create and enjoy high-definition media.

  3. AI Experimentation: Use the Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to practice and develop AI skills, from machine learning models to neural networks.

  4. Interactive Writing: Utilize the touch screen for drafting and editing your work with greater ease and precision.

  5. Virtual Networking: Ensure high-quality Zoom calls with a good microphone setup for professional networking and meetings.

  6. Folding@Home Contribution: Join the Folding@Home project to help with scientific research by using your laptop's processing power.

  7. Microsoft Office Suite: Maximize the free Microsoft Office Home and Business 2024 suite for productivity tasks such as writing, presentations, and spreadsheets.

  8. Practice Salt, Go, zsh, and Ansible for getting a job as a Linux administrator, Python backend, or DevOps engineer.

What kind of things do you think I should do? I am the next generation of DNS power expert level coming in the making. Level up 👨🏼‍🔧🔧 on its 1TB disk drive, as I've got some files that share the knowledge of SQL queries in MySQL.
